In-app challenge
Start the year with one kitchen swap
The week after the holidays is when the fridge is full of leftovers and every container is in use. That makes it the easiest week to see what you actually heat and store food in, and to choose one change worth keeping.

How the reset works
Scan what you heat and store
Microwave containers, leftover boxes, wraps and bags. The kitchen quest guides you through them one at a time.
Find your top driver
The Kitchen Simulator shows how material, heat and condition move the product-contact signal for each item.
Pick one swap
Choose a single lower-plastic swap for the new year, such as glass for reheating, and keep the rest as they are.

Why the kitchen
Heat is one of the inputs that moves a contact score most. A container used cold in the fridge and the same container used in a microwave are different situations, and manufacturers often give different instructions for each.
The reset focuses on that difference. It does not ask you to empty the cupboard. It helps you find the one item where heat and use make a change worth it, and leaves the rest for later.

Where most kitchens start
Common first finds, based on what people scan in the kitchen quest.
Reheating containers
Plastic tubs used in the microwave are a frequent top driver. Glass or ceramic is the usual swap.
Takeout boxes kept for reuse
Single-use containers are not designed for repeated heating; the report shows the material and its limits.
Cling film over hot food
The report explains how contact and temperature change the assessment.
Worn or scratched tubs
Condition is an input too. A cracked lid is a reasonable place to start.
