When the evidence changes, you hear it

Most newsletters in this category exist to remind you to be worried. This one exists because scores move — a study lands, a formulation changes, or we get something wrong and correct it in public. If you acted on a number here, you should be told when it changes.

The MicroPlastics email

One address, no other details

That is the whole form. We do not ask for a name because we would never use it, and every extra field costs signups.

The MicroPlastics email has no fixed send date, is usually sent no more than monthly, and covers new scores, corrections, and evidence changes. We do not sell your address or share it for another company's marketing; our email and database providers process it for us. Unsubscribe anytime. Privacy

What actually arrives

Score changes

When a product among the 132 we have scored moves band, or its evidence grade improves because someone finally measured it.

Corrections

Published against ourselves, with a date and a description of what was wrong. We already do this on /methodology. This is the same thing, pushed rather than pulled.

Challenged studies

24 sources underpin the database. When one is disputed or replaced, everything resting on it moves — and you should not have to re-read the site to find out.

What we will not do

  • No selling or sharing your address. Not to partners, not to advertisers, not to anyone.

  • No manufactured urgency. If nothing changed, nothing is sent. A quiet month is a quiet month.

  • No paid placements in the email. Same policy as the scores themselves. Where a link earns a commission we say so inline.

  • One-click unsubscribe. A link in every email, no login, no "are you sure", no retention flow.
