In-app challenge
One week to compare bottled water with a refill routine
Bottled water is the most common thing people scan first. This challenge turns that into a comparison: scan the bottles you actually buy during one week, then put them next to filtered tap water in a steel or glass bottle.

How the challenge works
Scan the bottles you drink
Single-use, multipacks, sparkling. Each scan returns a product-contact signal with the material and use behind it.
Run the water quest
The quest walks through the bottle, the cap and the refill option, one step at a time.
Compare with a refill routine
See the bottled score beside tap water in steel and decide whether a refill habit is worth keeping.

Why bottled water
Bottled water is where many readers start: our guide to how bottled-water brands compare is the most-read page on this site. Published studies have counted particles in some brands and lots, but those results describe specific samples and methods, not the bottle in your hand today.
The challenge keeps the claim narrow. The app compares the packaging and use conditions of what you drink, which is something you can change, and leaves particle counts to the studies that measured them.

What a week can show you
The comparison is built from your own scans, so it reflects what you actually buy.
Your most-bought bottle
The one you scan most often is the swap with the biggest payoff.
Heat and storage
Bottles left in a warm car or in the sun score differently from those kept cool. The report shows why.
Cap and lid
Caps are a separate material from the bottle body; the report lists both.
Your refill baseline
A steel or glass bottle with filtered tap water gives you a reference point for every other scan.
