Products were pulled from the Open Beauty Facts API, filtered to those with a usable ingredient list, and every INCI token matched against our flagged ingredient database. Matching is token-level: an ingredient list is split on commas and each token yields at most one ingredient, so "dimethicone" is never also counted as "methicone". Snapshot 2026-07-31.
