For parents and parents-to-be

Know what touches your baby's first meals

Polypropylene bottles can shed millions of particles during a single formula prep. Baby bottles, pouches and formula are not all equal, and the label rarely tells you which is which. Scan them in seconds and see which carry the least plastic, with the research behind every score.

How parents use it

  1. Scan the bottle, pouch or formula

Point the camera or scan the barcode. The app scores the item and explains which materials drive the score.

  2. Check the Baby & kids tested list

A curated list of nursery staples, ranked by measured plastic exposure, so you can compare before you buy.

  3. Swap the worst offender first

Every scan comes with a lower-plastic alternative. One bottle swap often cuts more exposure than ten small changes.

Built for the nursery

Everything is scored against published research on infant exposure, not vibes. The studies are linked inside the app.

Bottle prep guidance

Heat is the multiplier. The app flags when a prep step, like mixing formula hot in plastic, is doing most of the damage.

Pregnancy guide

A calm, 10-minute read on what placenta, amniotic fluid and breast milk findings actually mean, with practical swaps.

Pouches and sippy cups

Scan the whole feeding routine. Lids, straws and pouch spouts are scored alongside the food inside them.

Research receipts

Every score cites its sources. Tap through to the peer-reviewed study before you change anything.

Plastic Coach

Ask the Plastic Coach

A coach trained on the same research as the scanner. Ask it anything about your results, in plain language.

Should I throw out all our plastic baby bottles?

Not necessarily. The big lever is prep, not the bottle alone: mixing formula hot in polypropylene sheds the most. Prep in glass, let it cool, then transfer, and your exposure drops sharply even with the same bottles.

Are pouches okay for daily snacks?

Occasionally is fine. Daily, the spout is the weak point, especially with acidic purees like apple. Scan the brand you buy and I will show you how it compares and what a lower-plastic swap looks like.
